Veritais wins Control4 Yacht Install Award for third year in a row
Veritais Ltd, the leading consultancy and supplier of audio-visual systems for luxury yachts, has been awarded the annual Control4 Marine Install Award for the third year in a row. The award, presented by Control4, one of the world’s leading providers of audio visual and home automation controllers, recognises the ambitious ship-wide upgrade carried out by Veritais on the 73 metre Lurssen built motoryacht Titania.
One of the most distinctive yachts in the world, Titania has just benefited from a completely new level of audio visual system, fully controllable via Control4 touch screens in every cabin, covering everything from TV and movies to lighting, blinds, air conditioning and CCTV. The main controller for the system is manufactured by Control4 and manages the entire system.
Control4 held their awards at ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) in Amsterdam last week (February) to honour their European dealer network. The Yacht Install Award is one of Control4’s prestigious award scheme categories
“Receiving this award for the third year in a row is a great achievement for us,” comments David Milner of Veritais. “Control4 are recognised as one of the world’s great providers of personalized automation and control solutions, and their products are ideal for our superyacht customers.”
The refit was carried out in Marseilles over several months with a team of up to eight personnel from Veritais working at any one time. “This is one of most far reaching AV specifications with Control4 that we have ever designed,” says Milner.
