Veritais reports 50% growth in last 12 month period
Veritais Ltd has reported a 50% growth in business turnover in the 12 month period ending 31st May 2016.
2016 is the third consecutive year that the company has experienced this level of growth, which has been stimulated by both a larger number of high value projects in the superyacht sector, and an increasing number of contracts in the luxury residential and boutique hotel sector.
David Milner of Veritais reports “The past 12 months have seen a further encouraging rise in our business activity. This has been partly due to some very high value superyacht audio visual installation projects, including the most far reaching and highest specification installation yet seen on a superyacht for a Control4 system.”
Control4 is one of the world’s leading systems for providing control of virtually everyone including TV and movies to lighting, blinds, air conditioning and CCTV. The 73m (239ft) motor yacht built by Lurssen, and one of the most distinctive yachts in the world, received a completely new level of audio visual system, fully controllable via touch screens in every cabin. In the period Veritais has carried out installations and upgrades on a further eight superyachts as well.
The company, whose seven permanent employees coordinate teams of contractors – up to 15 can be working at any one time on a project – has benefitted from a significant increase in demand from the luxury market in the residential and commercial property sector.
“We have completed a number of property-wide audio visual and control systems in new builds, basement extensions and boutique hotels,” says David.
Veritais has also seen rapid growth in the demand for Wi-Fi based control systems for audio visual and other electronic control in lakeside luxury eco-housing projects in different parts of the UK. “Houses are being ordered off the drawing board from a selection of innovative designs by discerning owners who can also specify their own architecture, and Veritais is rapidly becoming established as one leading suppliers of bespoke systems for these houses.”
Veritais has created jobs for three key new employees, including a designer and engineer, enabling David Milner to focus on new business development. “This is making a significant difference to our growth potential,” he says. Milner also noted Veritais is proud to be nominated for the worldwide recognised prestige CEDIA International Installation Award as well as receiving the Control4 ‘Best Yacht Installation 2016’ award for the third year running and achieving ‘Gold and Platinum Dealer’ Status with many suppliers.
At Veritais the order books show no signs of slowing, quotes are out on another six superyacht installations as well as several dozen residential and boutique hotel contracts.
