Veritais success at London Yacht Show

May 15th, 2015

With the first London Yacht, Jet and Prestige Car Show completed last month David Milner of Veritais is now able to reflect on the level of success. “We had a great show, and a lot of quality enquiries. As always we are not sure how many will result in projects, only time will tell.”

Veritais met up with regular customers and the familiar faces of their trade colleagues at the LYJPC Show to demonstrate the very latest and most innovative in audio experiences. The company is a leading consultancy and supplier of audio systems, IT, network and lighting solutions for luxury yachts, and is responsible for the state of the art installations to some of the world’s largest and most opulent sailing and motor Superyacht.

“We took over 30 serious enquiries and gave out additional information to around another 30 visitors over the three days,” adds Milner. “There appeared to be a lot of the ‘right’ people attending. Inevitably with a completely new show there are some areas of organisation that could be improved, such as directions to the first floor display area and bars.”

“We would definitely do it again next year, and were very pleased with our position at the top of the main stairway, which we would hope to retain next year. The first year is always a bit of a risk at a new show but like all the rest of the exhibitors, and of course the organisers themselves, we took the gamble and we are hoping that it has paid off.”

A great attraction to the stand was the two unique ‘4D’ motion effect cinema seats from D-Box Seating, a concept which was used for the first time only last month in commercial cinemas and which are now available for installation in advanced onboard cinema rooms. Veritais are already fitting several 4D seats in a very high specification residential project, and this year will be extending their expertise to the Superyacht environment.

Also of interest were the exotic customisable SOEE Soundesign speakers named Drop’s and Up’s by their French designers – the former is a bookshelf design, while the other hangs from the ceiling. The haute couture speakers can be covered in any finish or fabric including alligator and ostrich leg – or 22 carat gold leaf. Importantly, their design delivers a crystal clear 360º sound experience that functions in the most diverse of environments.

The visual experience for Veritais’s visitors was delivered through an ultra high definition (4k) 98 inch LG screen.
