Sutton Coldfield Home Cinema – Control4
About This Project
In 2020, we completed the conversion of a disused garage in Sutton Coldfield into a fantastic media / home cinema room to be used by all the family, providing cinematic sights and sounds in the comfort of their home.
To ensure a cinema room system that is easy to use, we integrated all audio visual elements under the command of a Control4 Neoo remote, allowing for complete automation, all controlled by a single application.
We installed 4 channel dimmable light switches, along with C4 keypads and electric blinds. To provide cinema quality surround sound, we installed B&W in ceiling speakers and in wall speakers, delivering a 5.1.2 Atoms engulfed sound experience.
For daily use, this room makes use of a 75” OLED TV, but at the touch of a button, the room dims to darkness and a 3m wide 4k projector screen comes into use for a real cinema experience at home.
