This lovely home in London, features a dedicated home cinema room controlled with a Control4 home automation system.

The visual system consists of an LG 65″ OLED TV for daytime viewing, and a JVC native 4K projector, projecting the image onto a 130″ motorised projection screen for movie nights. The projector and screen are housed in motorised lifts, which hide them in the ceiling when not in use, and are automatically revealed when selected.

The audio system consists of three Bowers & Wilkins cinema speakers installed behind an acoustically transparent fabric wall covering, providing the left, centre and right channels. Four Bowers & Wilkins cinema in-ceiling speakers provide the surround and surround back channels, and two Bowers & Wilkins 10″ Active Subwoofers installed in a left/right configuration create room-filling bass. All speakers are driven from a Yamaha Aventage AV Receiver featuring room correction, delivering a fully immersive, 7.2 Dolby surround sound experience.

The control system consists of a Control4 8″ Tabletop touch screen as well as the clients mobile devices, from which the video/audio sources can be selected with a single button press putting the room into cinema mode by slowly closing the blinds and selecting the relevant source.
