Smart Apartment – Battersea
About This Project
Completed in 2023, this luxury apartment inside the newly renovated Battersea Power Station features a high-definition audio-visual system designed, specified, installed and commissioned by Veritais, along with a Control4 home automation system.
The system has been built around a Control4 system that provides a single user interface for both the TV and music systems. Control4 Neeo remote controls provide one-touch activation of activities. A Portable touch screen allows control of the apartment. This same functionality also extends to the clients own tablets and phones, even when away from the house.
LG OLED TVs have been installed throughout providing TV and streaming in 4K, HDR quality. Sonos Soundbars in ToneCase frames provide high quality sound when watching TV or listening to music, all controlled from the Control4 Neeo remotes also providing a simple interface to group multiple rooms together to play the same music or TV throughout.
High speed internet access is available throughout from the latest WiFi 6 Unifi Access points providing a wireless mesh managed by a wireless controller. A full UniFi network switching system allows the system to run lighting-fast, meaning the system can be controlled from everybody at the same time without slowing down the system.
