This new build home in Barnt Green, West Midlands, features a Control4 home automation system and dedicated home cinema room.

For music across the house, Bowers & Wilkins in-ceiling speakers are installed in the main rooms, connected back to a Control4 audio matrix and power amplifier which allows for music to be played in any room independently or rooms can be grouped together.

Lighting control is achieved through Control4 wireless keypads installed in the main rooms of the house meaning bespoke lighting scenes can be triggered from a single button press.

A wireless mesh network allows seamless roaming of mobile devices around the house for the best internet speeds anywhere in the house.

The cinema room audio system consists of three Sonance reference cinema speakers installed behind the acoustically transparent projection screen, providing the left, centre and right channels. Two James Audio on-wall speakers provide the surround channels, two Sonance reference cinema in-ceiling speakers provide the surround back channels. Four Sonance reference cinema speakers installed in the ceiling, providing Atmos height channels, and two Sonance 12″ Active Subwoofers installed in a front/rear configuration create room-filling bass. All speakers are driven from an Arcam AV Receiver and power amplifier combo featuring Class G amplification and Dirac Live room correction, delivering a fully immersive, 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos surround sound experience.

The visual system consists of a JVC native 4K projector, projecting the image onto a 158″ fixed frame Projecta screen in either 16:9 or 2.35:1 ratio depending on the content.

The control system consists of Control4 Neeo remote controls and Tabletop touch screens as well as the clients mobile devices, from which the video/audio sources can be selected with a single button press putting the room into cinema mode by slowly dimming the lights and selecting the relevant source.
