These disused stables in Solihull were converted into a fantastic family home cinema room and bar area, perfect for entertaining.

We installed an extensive audio system to create an immersive sound experience. The system consists of three Sonance reference cinema speakers installed behind the acoustically transparent projection screen, providing left, right and centre channels. Two James Audio on-wall speakers provide the surround channels, with two Sonance reference cinema in-ceiling speakers providing surround back channels, four Sonance reference cinema speakers installed in the ceiling providing Atmos height channels and two Sonance 12″ Active Subwoofers installed in a front/rear configuration for room-filling bass response.

All speakers are driven from an Arcam AV Receiver and power amplifier combo, featuring Class G amplification and Dirac Live room correction, delivering a fully immersive, 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos surround sound experience.

The visual system consists of a JVC native 4K projector, projecting the image onto a 158″ fixed frame Projecta screen in either 16:9 or 2.35:1 ratio depending on the content.

The control system consists of Control4 Neeo remote controls and Tabletop touch screens as well as the clients mobile devices, from which the video/audio sources can be selected with a single button press putting the room into cinema mode by slowly dimming the lights and selecting the relevant source.
